Hanna Ljungberg

Hanna Ljungberg ( born January 8, 1979 in Umeå ) is a former Swedish football player and with 72 goals in 130 international matches scorer of their country.

Career

She played for the multiple Swedish champions and European champions Umeå IK and was as prolific and assertive striker one of the supporting pillars of the Swedish national team. In 2002, she won the " Diamond Bollen " and was Player of the Year. The following year she was awarded the Swedish national team runner-up in the U.S.. 2003 sought to require the Italian men's club AC Perugia Hanna Ljungberg. But Ljungberg refused several offers of Italians.

After a serious knee injury in 2009 she gave her resignation as an active soccer player known.
