Hanna Zdanowska

Hanna Elżbieta Zdanowska ( born March 23, 1959 in Łódź, maiden name Aleksandrzak ) is a Polish politician, Platforma Obywatelska ( Civic Platform ). She was Member of the Sejm and since 2010 President of the City of Łódź.

Life

She learned at the XXVI. general high school Krzysztof Kamil Baczyński in Łódź (XXVI Liceum Ogólnokształcącego in. Krzysztofa Kamila Baczyńskiego ). She then studied at the Politechnika Łódzka at the Department of Construction and Architecture. After that she worked before 1987 started his own business in construction. In 1991, she was an employee of CCI Holding SA. In 2001, she was Director of the Łódź Trade and Chamber of Crafts ( Łódzkiej Izby Industrial And Handlowej ). In 2006, she was elected to the Łódź City Council and appointed in January 2007 as Deputy Mayor. In the early parliamentary elections in 2007, Hanna Zdanowska was in the constituency Sejm seeking a popular mandate for the 9 Łódź with 11,506 votes. She worked in the commissions of Territorial Self-Government and Regional Policy and Friendly State ( Przyjazne Państwo ). In November 2010, she stood successfully for election as President of the City of Łódź. She is not married and has a son.
