Hannes Löhr

Johannes " Hannes " or (mostly) " Hennes " Loehr ( born July 5, 1942 in Eitorf ) is a former German football player and football coach.

Career

The career of the fast left outside in the higher-class football began in 1962 when then- Oberliga Sportfreunde 05 Saarbrücken. After the introduction of the Bundesliga Löhr was in 1964 with 31 -goal top scorer of the Regionalliga Southwest, whereupon the 1st FC Cologne undertook the then 21 -year-old talent. For the FC Loehr graduated 1964-1978 381 games in the Bundesliga. His 166 goals are still Bundesliga club record of Cologne. In the eternal scorer in the Bundesliga Löhr is in ninth place. In the years 1968, 1977 and 1978, he was with Cologne DFB Cup winner in 1978 also still German masters.

1968 Lohr was top scorer in both the Bundesliga and the DFB Cup.

He denied 1967-1970 20 matches in which he scored five goals. Loehr also belonged to the squad of the football team, which at the soccer World Cup in Mexico was third in 1970.

Loehr graduated in European Cup champions, European Cup Winners' Cup and UEFA Cup a total of 58 matches and scored 30 goals there.

His career suffered from his earlier rather poor health. So he survived tuberculosis, liver disease and a severe blood poisoning.

After the career

After his active career as a player, he was first an assistant coach, then manager in 1980 and 1983, after the dismissal of Rinus Michels, even coach at FC Cologne 1. In February 1986, he was also dismissed by management. After that he went as a coach for the DFB, where he was responsible for the Under-21 and Olympic national team for many years. Only in 2002 he gave the U21 Jürgen Kohler on.

Löhr, who was already with 19 orphaned and in Cologne is also known as " de Naas ", still depends very much on 1.FC Cologne, is a Season ticket holders and even visited each home game.
