Template: Infobox Island / Maintenance / image missing

The island Hanover (sometimes Hanover; Spanish Isla Hanover ) is one of Chile and is located north of Tierra del Fuego in the Patagonian Archipelago. It belongs to the Región de Magallanes y Antártica Chilena de la, has an area of 812 km ² and reaches a height of 1158 meters above the sea.

Jules Verne leaves on this island his novel play Two Year holidays, in which suffer a group of young people and children from Auckland coming to her shipwreck. The specified geographical descriptions in the novel have but - apart from the coarse orientation and the approximate dimensions - little to do with the real island.
