Hans Bänninger
Hans Banninger ( born March 17, 1924 in Zurich, † August 22, 2007 ) was a Swiss professional ice hockey goaltender.
Career
Hans Banninger took part in the Winter Olympics 1948 in St. Moritz and in Oslo in 1952 for the Swiss national team. With his team, he won the bronze medal at the Winter Games in 1948. In addition, he was in his country's squad at the World Championships in 1950 and 1951, where he also won the bronze medal each. As the best European team Switzerland became European champion in 1950. At club level he played for the Zürcher SC.
