Hans Fagius

Hans Fagius ( born April 10, 1951 in Norrköping, Sweden) is a Swedish organist.

Fagius is since 1989 professor at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen. He studied, among others, at Alf Linder and Maurice Duruflé. Fagius exerts an intense concert activity, especially in Europe. He has recorded many CDs, including Johann Sebastian Bach's complete organ works ( a total of 17 CDs). He is often considered to give master classes and as a member of the tribunal in organ competitions to rate.

Hans Fagius is a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Music. He is the brother of neurologists January Fagius.
