Hans Fischerkoesen
Hans Fischerkoesen ( born May 18, 1896 as Hans Fischer in Bad Kosen, Saxony -Anhalt, † 23 April 1973 in Mehlem, now Bad Godesberg). Was a German cartoons and advertising films He used a portion of the city name for his stage name in reference to his hometown.
Life
He worked for the characters Film GmbH in the 1940s. Among the best known protagonists is Uncle Otto of Hessischer Rundfunk. He is often seen as a German adequacy to Walt Disney. For graphic artist and illustrator team Fischerkoesens included the very painter and caricaturist André Easter knight.
After 1948 he founded in Mehlem in Bonn, the new Fischerkoesen studios, which are continued by his son and existed until 2000.
