Hans Gruijters

Johannes Petrus Adrianus (Hans) Gruijters (* June 30, 1931 in Helmond, † April 17, 2005 in Lelystad ) was a Dutch politician.

Hans Gruijters studied at the University of Amsterdam and in 1966 was co-founder of the party D66, for which he was the minister for housing assistance and Regional Planning from 1973 to 1977 in the cabinet Den Uyl. Later he was sixteen years mayor of the city Lelystad.

In 2004, he stepped out of the dispute from the D66.
