Hans im Gluck in Herne 2 is a German television series that was broadcast by ZDF as of 2 January 1983.

Action

The focus of the series is about a 16- year-old Hans Kolekta, the attempts in unemployment to escape, as well as the lives of his, dating from the Arbeitermilleau family and that of his close friends are in a typical Ruhr road in Herne / tub Eickelmann resident.

Background

The screenplays wrote whitefish grain that were fashioned by the actor Willi Thomczyk and the director of the series Roland Gall and provided with Ruhr - local color.

The series was almost entirely realized with amateur actors on location in the Ruhr. Exceptions are the Ruhr icon Tana Schanzara and the still largely unknown Dieter Pfaff. The layman Peter Dannenberg became known for his starring role on the broadcast, short-term fame. The youth magazine Bravo he was worth a multipage report.

As locations are in North Rhine- Westphalia next pan - Eickelmann the Dortmund city center and the main station in Dortmund, Bochum Hauptbahnhof, Castrop -Rauxel, Thyssen Krupp steel plant in Duisburg and Wrist in Schleswig -Holstein to see.

The first working title of the series was "The non- climbers". The final title in the series used the former postal designation " Herne 2" for pan - Eickelmann.

The post production of the series was in the company of Adolf Winkelmann, also director of films with Ruhr - like motif Lots of coal, completed.

The series was never repeated by ZDF and landed in the poison cupboard. Saw only after almost 30 years, this series again the light of day. DVD Product Manager Holger Bals, even a big fan of the series, acquired the rights from ZDF and produced an elaborate DVD box, which includes three DVDs, together with booklet. This DVD box appeared from the Company ems new media, working for the Bals. One more hour documentary entitled 30 years later, was produced specially for this publication. In this many of the performers by Holger Bals were visited and interviewed. Nothing was glossed over and cut anything. Unfiltered get a glimpse into the life of today's performers, which partly agrees very sad one. Also comes Ruhr icon Willi Thomczyk ( Bang Boom Bang, The campers etc ) to word, which swings back to a sweeping attack on today's media landscape.
