Hans-Joachim Wagner

Hans -Joachim Wagner ( born January 31, 1955 in Essen) is a former German football player.

Career

Hans -Joachim Wagner's career began in the youth club at the Essen Kray 09 Later he moved to the youth department of FC Schalke 04

From Schalke 's youth, he moved in 1974 to local rivals Borussia Dortmund, who had also committed other young players like Lothar Huber Mirko Votava or beside him. At that time a member of the newly formed 2nd Bundesliga he was finally fast first-team regular and increased in the 1975/76 season with Borussia - after two relegation matches against 1 FC Nuremberg - in the Bundesliga on. In the German top flight, he completed 149 games for Borussia, in which he scored six goals and among others witnessed the 12:12 against Borussia Mönchengladbach. However, since he from the 1981/82 season under new coach Branko Zebec and applying thereto, Karl -Heinz Feldkamp increasingly rare came into use 1983 he moved to Rot- Weiss Essen in the second division, where he met his former Dortmund coach Rolf Bock.
