Hans-Jürgen Krupp

Hans -Jürgen Krupp ( born April 15, 1933, Elbing, East Prussia ) is a German economist and politician of the SPD. He is married and has four children.

Curriculum vitae

In 1952 he began his studies in Industrial Engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt, where he makes his 1957 earning his degree in industrial engineering after a temporary stay abroad at the University of Wisconsin. In 1961, he concludes there his dissertation The system character of the economy and the need for methodological pluralism from 1967 he habilitated with a work on the theory of income distribution and obtained the venia legendi of Economics and Econometrics.

In 1969 he was appointed Professor of Economic and Social Policy at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt. From 1972 he is head of the DFG-funded research project " Social -political decision - making system in the Federal Republic of Germany " ( SPES ), from the 1979 Collaborative Research Centre 3 " Microanalytical Foundations of Social Policy" at the Universities of Frankfurt and Mannheim in 1983, today the DIW Berlin is moved Socio-Economic Panel shows. In 1987 he was appointed to the Chair of Economics, especially Empirical Research in Economics at the Technical University of Berlin, which he held until 1993. He was a member of the Academy of Sciences in Berlin.

Policy
