Hans-Lukas Kieser

Hans -Lukas Kieser ( b. 1957 ) is a Swiss historian. His research is mainly on the late Ottoman Empire and the history of Turkey and its relations with Europe and Switzerland. Kieser is professor of modern history, in particular the Ottoman and nacho manic world at the University of Zurich. He is president of the Foundation Research Centre Switzerland - Turkey ( SFST ), headquartered in Basel.
