Hans Müller (politician)

Hans Müller ( born June 25, 1884 in Trier, † April 19, 1961 in Munich) was a German lawyer, civil servant and politician ( CSU).

Life and career

Müller took a degree in Law and Finance and economics at the universities of Bonn, Freiburg im Breisgau and Munich, where he. Both State Exam and 1910, with a doctorate in law et rer. pol. finished. He joined in 1911 as a junior barrister in the administrative service, became in 1912 the city assessor and was from 1913 to 1918 as a government assessor at the Prussian financial management operates. From 1919 to 1926 he was head of the tax offices in Mülheim an der Ruhr and Dusseldorf, 1927-1933 President of the regional finance office in Karlsruhe and 1933-1945 Reich judge at Reichsfinanzhof. After the Second World War, Müller continued his civil service career and served from May 1951 to December 1954 as President of the Federal Fiscal Court. Müller was a member of the Catholic Student Association K.St.V. Arminia Bonn.

Policy

Müller joined after 1945 in the CSU and was from 1946 to 1950 a member of the executive committee of the party. Of 22 October 1945 to 18 December 1950, he served as Secretary of State and the State Ministry of Finance in the registers kept by Prime Minister William Hoegner and Hans Ehard governments of the Free State of Bavaria.
