Hansi Müller

Hans -Peter " Hansi" Müller ( born July 27, 1957 in Stuttgart ) is a former German football player and current football official. As a player, he was active for VfB Stuttgart, Inter Milan, Como Calcio and FC Swarovski Tirol. For Germany, he came up with 42 caps and 5 goals and won the European Championship in 1980. Between 1999 and 2001 he was a board member of VfB Stuttgart, since July 2007, where he has been an honorary member since 2011 and board member.

Playing career

Hans Müller attended the Eschbach -Gymnasium in Stuttgart district of Freiberg. He began his career at SV Rot in Stuttgart. For VfB Stuttgart he played from 1975 to 1982 in the Bundesliga, 1982-1984 Inter Milan, 1984/1985 for Calcio Como and from 1985 until his retirement in late 1990 for FC Wacker Innsbruck and FC Swarovski Tirol.

In the German national team, he played from 1978 to 1983 in 42 games (5 goals), was a member of the German team at the World Cup in 1978, 1980 European Football Championship and 1982 Vice World Champion.

The highlight of his time in Innsbruck was next to two league titles and one Cup victory to reach the UEFA Cup semi-final 1986/87 (he did this achievement on a par with the European title in 1980 ).

For his 50th birthday on 27 July 2007, he organized the rematch of the World Cup final of 1982 between the national teams of Italy and Germany ( match output then 3:1), which was held in Stuttgart before over 40,000 spectators at the Gottlieb -Daimler -Stadion. In addition to many participants of the then finals, as Karl -Heinz Rummenigge, Horst Hrubesch, the Ranger brothers, Claudio Gentile and Paolo Rossi, was also attended by the guest stars Michael Schumacher and Eros Ramazzotti. Offices as a football official

In September 1999, Hansi Müller was at VfB Stuttgart as Director of Marketing and Public Relations Member of the Executive Board.
