Hantsavichy Raion

The Rajon Hanzawitschy (White Russian Ганцавіцкі раён; Russian Ганцевичский район ) is an administrative unit in the northeastern Breszkaja Woblasz in Belarus. The Rajon has an area of 1,710 km ², comprises 36 villages and is divided into 8 Selsawets.

In Hanzawitschy is an early warning radar of the Russian armed forces.

Geography

The Rajon Hanzawitschy located in the northeast of the Breszkaja Woblasz. The Nachbarrajone in Breszkaja Woblasz are in the southeast Luninets, southwest Pinsk, in the west and northwest Iwazewitschy Ljachawitschy.
