Hanzala Malik

Hanzala Malik (* November 26 1956 in Glasgow ) is a Scottish politician and member of the Labour Party.

Malik's father is originally from Pakistan, his mother is Scottish. Malik attended the University of Paisley and graduated as Bachelor. Since 1995, he is an elected member of the city council of Glasgow. He is married and speaks fluent English, Punjabi and Urdu. Among other things, Malik was instrumental in the close union of Glasgow with the Pakistani city of Lahore.

In the Scottish Parliament elections in 2011 Malik stood as Labour candidate list for election Glasgow Area and moved as one of three Labour candidates of the list in the Scottish Parliament.
