Hanzhong
Hanzhong (Chinese汉中 市/汉中 市, pinyin Hanzhong, W.-G. Hanchung ) is a prefecture -level city in northwest China's Shaanxi Province. Hanzhong has an area of 27,246 km ² and about 3.74 million inhabitants ( end of 2004).
History
The city contributed to the time of the Han Dynasty (206 BC to 220 AD ) the name Nanzheng (南郑\南郑, Nanzheng ) and formed the center of the state Han. Geography
