Hapoel Hatzair

HaPoel HaZair ( " the young worker ") was a socialist and Zionist party in Palestine before the creation of Israel.

The party was founded in Petach Tikva on 15 October 1905 was based in 1930 on the Socialist party Mapai, whose present-day successor regime since 1968 is the Avodah. Among the main activities of the HaPoel HaZair included the establishment of the first cooperative settlements and kibbutzim in Palestine.
