Harald Christian Strand Nilsen

Harald Christian beach Nilsen ( born May 7, 1971 in Gjøvik ) is a retired Norwegian alpine skier.

Nilsen's most successful season was 1994/95 when he drove in two combinations and three giant slaloms among the top three. He finished third in the giant slalom World Cup, second in the combined standings and 13th in the overall World Cup.

In the following years, beach Nilsen specialized then for slalom racers and products obtained by regular rankings in the top 15 of a World Cup race. However, quite to the successes of the years 1994 and 1995, in which he totaled six podium finishes in the giant slalom and combined, he could not match.

At the Olympic Games in 1994 in Lillehammer, he was also able to win bronze in the Alpine combined behind his countrymen Lasse Kjus and Kjetil André Aamodt. Beach Nilsen stepped back end of the season 2002/ 03.
