Harl McDonald

Harl McDonald ( born July 27, 1899 in Boulder / Colorado, † March 30, 1955 in Princeton / New Jersey ) was an American composer.

McDonald studied at the University of California, the University of Redlands and finally at the Conservatory of Leipzig. From 1922 to 1926 he taught in Paris, then in Philadelphia. Later he lived in St. Davis / Pennsylvania.

He composed four symphonies, a concerto for two pianos and orchestra, a violin concerto, chamber works and a fair.
