The Harplage is up to 290.1 ​​m above sea level. NN high ridge west-northwest of the resin in the district of Hildesheim, in the eastern Lower Saxony, about halfway between Hildesheim and Goslar.

Geographical location

The 7 km long ridge of forested Harplage part of the north-eastern part of Lower Saxony's mountain country. It is located in the district of Hildesheim in the southwest of Inner Uplands between Bockenem and Lamspringe and borders the Ambergau against west. The mountain range is located east of the Valley of Lamme and west of Nice between the northern part of the Ambergaus and in the south extending approximately parallel lift. Northeast of Nettetal is 10 km from the grove hill and the South East Harz foothills.

A few kilometers east of the Harplage each carry over in north-south direction sections of the Federal Highway 7 and the B243.

Description

At the Harplage derive certain streams as tributaries of Lamme and Cute. Due to the uninhabited ridge, which is crossed by several hiking trails and forest roads, no roads lead.

Other attractions in the sinkhole heard dill ditch. The dolinenähnliche hole is located on the eastern edge at 179 m altitude in the stationary northwest of Königsdahlum Dillsburg.
