Harriet Zuckerman
Harriet A. Zuckerman ( born July 19, 1937 in New York City ) is an American sociologist.
Zuckerman received his doctorate at Columbia University. Later, she was a professor of sociology at Columbia University and led from 1978 to 1982 the local department. My main area of work was the sociology of science. She is a senior vice president of the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
She was married to Robert K. Merton.
