Harry Dym
Harry Dym (* 1938) is an Israeli mathematician. He is at the Weizmann Institute.
Life and work
Dym was established in 1965 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Henry P. McKean PhD ( Stationary Measures for the flow of a linear differential equation driven by white noise ).
Dym focuses Analysis ( Inverse Problems, Theory of operators, interpolation theory, classical analysis ).
The Dym equation, an exactly soluble nonlinear partial differential equation of third order, which describes solitons, is named after him ( by Martin Kruskal, who attributed Dym ).
His doctoral Doron Zeilberger heard.
