Harry Keramidas

Harold "Harry" Thomas Keramidas ( born August 1940 in Detroit, Michigan) is an American editor.

Life

Harold Thomas Keramidsa grew up in Detroit. After graduating from high school he studied at the University of Michigan and Wayne State University, where he earned a degree in psychology. After two years of service in the Peace Corps in the Dominican Republic, he moved to Los Angeles, where he follows to the " UCLA Graduate Film School " studied his interest in ethnographic film. He then worked at the Office of Economic Opportunity, the National Film Board of Canada and the Encyclopædia Britannica.

After Harry Keramidas 1997, the American Cinema Editors joined, it was mainly films such as Children of the Corn, Attack of the 20 Foot Woman and Judge Dredd, as well as the film series Back to the Future, for which he gained notoriety. In particular, for the first film, Back to the Future, he was nominated the BAFTA Award for Best Film section 1986.
