Harry Lloyd

Harry Lloyd ( born November 17, 1983 in London, England ) is a British actor.

Life

Harry Lloyd was born in London and is the mother a direct descendant of the writer Charles Dickens (his mother, Marion, is Dickens ' great-granddaughter of the second generation ). His father Jonathan Lloyd is the director of a book agency.

Lloyd attended Eton College and had been with 16 years, his first film role in the BBC's David Copperfield as a young James Steerforth. Later he studied at Christ Church, Oxford English and joined during his time there, the theater group Oxford University Drama Society at, with which he appeared in a number of stage plays. In 2005 he left Oxford with a second degree.

Since then, Lloyd has been an active television actor and appeared in a number of television series. These include Doctor Who and the sitcom Genie in the House. In 2006 he played the role of Will Scarlett over a longer period in the BBC series Robin Hood. From 2011 he was occupied for the elaborate fantasy series Game of Thrones, in which he plays the role of Viserys Targaryen. In the same year, he also had roles in the films Jane Eyre and The Iron Lady.
