Harvey Cohn

Harvey Cohn ( Harvey Wright Cohn, born December 4, 1884 in New York City; † July 1965 in Massachusetts ) was an American middle and long distance runners, who participated in three Olympic Games.

1904 in St. Louis, he was eighth over 1500 m. About 800 m he did not finish in the top six and in the steeplechase over 2590 m not in the top four.

In 1905 he was U.S. champion over two miles obstacle.

At the 1906 Summer Olympics in Athens, he was more than 1500 m in seventh or eighth. In the five- mile run he did not make it into the top six.

In London in 1908, he belonged to the U.S. team in the three-mile team race, which took second place. Since only the first three of a team were included in the medals, Cohn, who was twelfth and fifth order within the U.S. team in the individual competition went away empty-handed.

Harvey Cohn started for the Irish American Athletic Club.
