The Hasan - Uğurlu Dam is a dam on the Yeşilırmak in Turkey, Samsun province. It was built for hydroelectric power generation.

Originally she was hot Ayvacik Dam. It was renamed after Hasan Uğurlu, an engineer, who died along with his wife while working on the dam in an accident. After his wife Suat Uğurlu another 24 km was named lying below the dam.

The dam of rockfill material with a dam volume of 9.6 million cubic meters was completed in 1979. It is 23 km south of Çarşamba and 25 km south-east of Samsun.

The memory space of the reservoir is 1.074 billion cubic meters in size. Of these, 660 million cubic meters of usable storage space. The water surface usually has an extension of 22.7 km ².

The hydroelectric power plant, an underground power house in the bedrock, has four vertical Francis turbines with a capacity of 4 × 125 MW. The annual energy production is 1217 GWh.
