Hasištejn Castle

The Hasištejn Castle ( German Hassenstein ) is located in the Bohemian Erzgebirge 627 m nm Height above the town Místo (square) in the district of Chomutov (Czech Republic) and is one of the oldest castles in the Ore Mountains. She was the workplace of Bohuslaus Lobkowicz hate stone.

History

The castle was built in the early 14th century. Probably mid-12th century was at this point a fortress to protect the trade route from Zwickau to Kaaden and the Kingdom of Bohemia. Description
