HAT-P-6b
HAT- P- 6b is an exoplanet, orbiting the main sequence star HAT- P- 6 every 3.853 days. Due to its high mass is assumed that it is a gas planet.
Discovery
Unlike the majority of exoplanets it has been discovered using the transit method. The planet was discovered by the HATNet Project in 2007.
Circulation and mass
The planet orbits its star at a distance of about 0.05325 astronomical units and has a mass of about 336 Earth masses and 1.057 Jupiter masses.
