Heaven and hell. Nine Tales ( in the original Hateship, Friendship, Courtship, Loveship, Marriage, 2001) is the tenth collection of short stories by Alice Munro. It bears the inscription: " With gratitude to Sarah Skinner. " The German translation is by Heidi Zerning and published in 2004 by S. Fischer in Frankfurt am Main.
