The secondary school (vocational school readiness, short vocational maturity) is now regarded in Germany as a minimum requirement for education (teaching ) and is the basis for all other higher education qualifications. He is usually a prerequisite for the start of training under the dual system for the admission to certain vocational schools or vocational school ( Germany ). Nevertheless, a vocational training can start without a school-leaving certificate.
The school certificate will be awarded in high school and in the school in some countries with the displacement testimony of Class 9 to Class 10.
A secondary school in Germany can be reached by
- The successful completion of a secondary school or a comprehensive school after the 9th grade or
- The school certificate examination after grade 9 secondary school or
- The school stranger examination at a secondary school or
- The successful completion of high school after the 10th grade in NRW as a so-called CSE (type 10A)
- The existence of an additional test on the following professional schools
- Vocational preparation year
- Special one-year vocational school
- The successful completion of a course of the same name on the main evening school or community college
- A distance learning course, which prepares for the school stranger test.
The qualifying CSE and the CSE provides advanced in some states a special performance record represents the final examination of the Secondary School in Baden- Württemberg is equivalent provided by the educational value with a final exam in English.
