Haus Steineck

The house Steineck is a villa in Mehlem, a district of Bonn city district of Bad Godesberg, which was built in the late 19th century. It is located above the bank of the Rhine ( John Jay McCloy - shore ) on the Rüdigerstraße ( house number 82) corner of Ferry Road. The building stands with its facade as a historic listed building. History

The villa built in the late 19th century on the site of the former to the French period ( 1794-1815 ) existing Mehlemer Court, the exact construction data are unknown. When they first appeared in 1898 in the obtained construction documents, it was in the possession of the Cologne banker Raoul Stein ( Bankhaus JH Stein), who used it with his family as a summer home.
