Havoc and Bright Lights is the eighth studio album by Canadian-American singer-songwriter Alanis Morissette. It was released in August 2012.
Formation
Havoc and Bright Lights is Morissette's first album in four years and the first on the new label Collective Sounds after the departure of Maverick Records. It was produced by Guy Sigsworth and Joe Chiccarelli. In the summer of 2011, work began on it until the fall of 31 songs were completed, as Morissette said at the American Music Awards. The recording of the album took place in Morissette's living room, the singer said in an interview. This is due to the fact that their Morrisette born in December 2010, son nursed yet.
