HC Rebel Havlíčkův Brod

The HC Rebel Havlíčkův Brod is a Czech ice hockey club from Havlíčkův Brod. He plays since 2006 in the first league game of the second class of the Czech Republic. In addition, the club is cooperating with the HC Slavia Prague and acts as the farm team.

History

The club was founded in 1928 and was active only at the regional level to the 1990s. The home games of the association are discharged in this since the completion of the ice stadium Kotlina that can accommodate up to 4000 spectators. In 1991, the first team was promoted to the third division of Czechoslovakia. Two years later, the club achieved promotion to the 1st League in which it remained until 1999. Only in 2006 was the HC Rebel runner-up of the 2nd league and was allowed to ascend to the first league.
