HC Spartak Kyiv

Spartak Kiev is a women's handball club from the Ukrainian capital Kiev.

Spartak Kiev was in its heyday in the 70s and 80s as the best European club, in this period was a total of thirteen times the European Champions Cup, today's Champions League, are obtained. After Spartak Kiev had been 1989 the last time in the final of the " European Champion " against Hypo Niederösterreich Austria, the club could no longer connect to the old successes in the newly independent Ukraine. The last place in the Champions League was in 2001, in the last season the club reached the third round of the EHF Cup.
