HD 37124 c

HD 37124 c is an exoplanet, the yellow dwarf HD 37124 orbits every 2295 days. Due to its high mass is assumed that it is a gas planet.

Discovery

As the majority of exoplanets was also discovered that using the radial velocity method. The planet was by Geoffrey Marcy et al. discovered in 2002.

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of approximately 3.19 astronomical units at an eccentricity of 0.20 and has a mass of about 217.1 Earth masses and 0.638 Jupiter masses.
