HD 74156 c

HD 74156 c is an exoplanet, the yellow dwarf orbiting HD 74156. Due to its mass is assumed that it is a gas planet.

Discovery

As the majority of exoplanets was also discovered that using the radial velocity method. The planet was by Dominique Naef et al. discovered in 2001.

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits the central star every 2477 days at a distance of approximately 3.35 astronomical units at an eccentricity of 0.43 and a minimum mass of about 8 Jupiter masses.
