Heated hose

Airbags are used in adhesive technology, filling and dosing, chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries, medical technology and mechanical engineering. Airbags are used to temperature- variable matter - such as hot glue, chocolate, gelatine, fats - to hold during transport flowable temperature. In airbags predominantly liquid or viscous media are directed, in part with the use of pressure. In most cases, the temperature is constant along the transport path.

Airbags allow for ambient temperatures from -40 ° C to 80 ° C and can, with appropriate design in zones 1 /21 and 2/22 (gas / dust ) may be used.

An airbag is mounted on a flexible base tube, through which the medium is headed. The basic tube determines temperature resistance and chemical resistance. Getting to the bottom tube of the heating conductor is wrapped and insulated with felt or foam and an outer jacket applied, which may be made depending on the application of polyamide, silicone, steel or stainless steel braid. The heat conductor is provided with a temperature sensor. Fittings and connectors to heated hoses are usually customized for the installation situation.

The overall length of airbags is kept as short as possible, as a rule, the nominal size is different depending on the application.
