Pfundskerle ( Heavyweights ) is an American comedy film directed by Steven Brill from the year 1995.
Action
The overweight Gerald Garner to spend his holidays in the summer camp Camp Hope. There, he likes it first. After some time, the camp of Tony Perkis is assumed that strives with drastic methods that overweight children lose weight. He wants to make an instructional video about the methods of weight loss.
After the kids their candy taken away, they develop plans on how they can take action against Perkis. Enclose it temporarily.
The parents of the children is shown on visiting a video in which the methods were negatively portrayed by Perkis. They are shocked and say Perkis, his time in the camp was over. Perkis is dismissed.
The boys remain in the camp. You will win in the end - for the first time - in a sporting competition against another camp.
Reviews
Hal Hinson mocked in the Washington Post on 17 February 1995, the film was "the best film about adolescent overweight boys at a summer camp " - because he was the only one. He can only win in competition with itself.
