Héctor Chumpitaz

Héctor Eduardo Chumpitaz González ( born April 12, 1944 in Cañete, Peru ) is a former Peruvian football player.

Association

The El Granítico called Chumpitaz began his career in 1963 in the Segunda División at Unidad Vecinal. From 1964 to 1965 he was standing in rows Deportivo Municipals. Then he played from 1966 to 1975 for Universitario de Deportes. During his membership in the Peruvian capital club, he won with his team-mates five times the Peruvian Championship ( 1966, 1967, 1969, 1971 and 1974) and was in 1972 in the finals of the Copa Libertadores, where his club ultimately lost to the Argentine representative CA Independiente. In 1976, he moved to Mexico to CF Atlas. Already in the following year he moved on to Sporting Cristal, where he ended his career in 1984, after spending three more times could add the title in the Peruvian championship his success statistics in the years 1979, 1980 and 1983. At the international club level, he graduated from 1966-1984 for Universitario and Sporting Cristal total of 74 games in the Copa Libertadores. He scored eight goals.

National
