Hegi

Hegi is a district of the city of Winterthur. Together with the neighborhoods Guggenbühl, Groat, Hegmatten, Talacker, Zinzikon, Reutlingen, Stadel and Ricketwil it forms the circle 2 (Upper Winterthur).

History

The historic village Hegi lay south of Schloss Hegi. Hegi Castle was probably built in 1200 and is first mentioned in 1225.
