Heideland-Elstertal-Schkölen

The administrative community heath - Elster - Schkölen is an administrative community in the Saale- wood land district of Thuringia. The administrative community belong to a town and six communities.

Headquarters is located in Crossen an der Elster, branch offices are located in Heathland ( OT Königshofen ) and Schkölen.

History

The management community was originally established as an administrative community Hartmann village. Then took place on 11 October 1994, the renamed management community Elstertal. On 15 March 1996, the second rename to Administrative Community Heathland Elstertal was achieved by taking the communities heathland and Walpernhain from the dissolved Management Community on the heath. With the accession of the city Schkölen 1 January 2012 it received its present name.
