Heidrun Bluhm

Heidrun Bluhm, born Samow ( born January 18, 1958 in Schwerin ) is a German politician (The Left ). Since the resignation of Steffen Bockshahn she is the Chair of the National Association of Mecklenburg- Vorpommern.

Life and career

After attending the Polytechnic High School made ​​Heidrun Bluhm 1974-1976 first vocational training to the Athletic Director. Subsequently, she appeared as a staff member in the district leadership Schwerin FDJ. In 1977 she attended the youth high school " Wilhelm Pieck " for a study of Marxism -Leninism. After graduating in 1992 with a Diplom ( FH) Heidrun Bluhm was until 2002 an independent owner of a planning office for interior design. In addition, it was from 1996 to 2002 Managing Partner of Schmidt & Bluhm planning and project management mbH and 1994-2002 co-partner of Bluhm & Bluhm Real Estate Recovery and Management Company. Heidrun Bluhm is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Federal Foundation for Building Culture.

Heidrun Bluhm is divorced and has two children.

Party

Heidrun Bluhm was in 1977 a member of the SED. Since 2007 she is deputy chairman of the National Association of Left Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Following the resignation of Steffen Bockshahn on November 5, 2012, she took over the succession as chairman on 17 November, 2012.

Since 2005, Heidrun Bluhm is a member of the German Bundestag. Having moved over the national list of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in the Bundestag. She is a member of the Committee on Food and Agriculture and the Committee on Environment, Nature Conservation, and Nuclear Safety building.
