Heights (band)

Heights is an English post-hardcore band from Welwyn Garden City.

History

Heights released their first studio album on 21 June 2011. Dead Ends was very well received by critics and received from Kerrang first album in 2011 with 5 points, the highest possible rating. Following the release of her debut album, toured Heights, among others, Architects, Deaf Havana and Tek One of the UK.

After another tour of England released with Biohazard Heights in March 2012, two songs with the name These Streets and Gold Coast who offered it on their website free to download.

After a European tour with Born from Pain Heights announced on May 6, 2012 announced the separation from her singer Thomas Debaere. The exact reasons for separation were not specified. Debaere dedicated to keeping his new project, Life & Limb. About a week later gave Heights announced that its current bassist Alex Monty Debaeres would take over position as a singer. The body of the bass player will temporarily taken over by friends.

On June 4, 2012 Heights started recording for their second studio album, without specifying details of the planned publication. On 12 February 2013, the first single from the new album was officially released on YouTube with Eleven Eyes, which was released on April 29, 2013 under the name Old Lies for Young Lives with Transcend Records. For the summer, a European tour is planned.
