Heike Wilms-Kegel

Heike Wilms - Kegel (* October 19, 1952 in Bremen ) is a German politician ( Alliance 90/The Greens and FDP).

Education and work

After graduation in 1971 at the Gymnasium in Bonn Tannenbusch Heike Wilms - Kegel began studying medicine at the University of Bonn, which she finished in 1979 with the approval. After that she worked as an assistant doctor in surgery and 1980-1982 in radiology, radiotherapy and oncology. Subsequently, she was up to her to the Bundestag department doctor at the Psychosomatic Clinic Bad Tönisstein. After her retirement from the Bundestag Wilms cone was director of CARE Germany in Moscow; then she headed from 1991 to mid-1997, the department " Health Policy and Communications " Upjohn GmbH, Heppenheim. In 1997, she was Managing Director of the German Spas Association.

Policy

Heike Wilms - Kegel in 1983 a member of the Green Party. From 1987 to 1990 she was a member of the German Bundestag for their party. She took over the national list of Rhineland-Palatinate in parliament. There she was Chair of the Committee for Youth, Family, Women and Health and her group health spokeswoman. After the parliamentary election in 1990 she moved to the FDP.
