Heinrich Graf von Einsiedel

Heinrich Graf von Einsiedel ( born July 26, 1921 in Potsdam, † July 18, 2007 in Munich) was a German politician and author.

He was the youngest of three children of Count Herbert von Einsiedel (1885-1945) and Countess Irene von Bismarck - Schönhausen ( 1888-1982 ). His great-grandfather was Otto von Bismarck. His siblings were Baroness Gisela von Richthofen Est of Nostic Wallwitz née Countess von Einsiedel (1909-2005) and Count Gisbert von Einsiedel ( 1917-1940 ). The 1908 marriage in the parents divorced in 1931. Both parents remarried - his father married Irma von Tresckow (1901-1976) and the mother of the officer Horst by Peter Dorff ( 1892-1962 ).

In his youth, Graf von Einsiedel as a group leader was active in the illegal after 1933 continued boy shaft. From 10 November 1994 to 26 October 1998 he was a member of the German parliament for one term. He was elected on the regional list of the Party of Democratic Socialism (PDS ) in Saxony. Previously, he was from 1957 to 1992 member of the SPD.

Heinrich Graf von Einsiedel was married from 1955-1964 to actress and later Green Party politician Barbara Rütting (* 1927). His second wife he married in 1972 Helga Lechtape born Grüter (* 1938), with whom he had two sons.
