Heinrich XXIV, Prince Reuss of Greiz

Heinrich XXIV Reuss ( born March 20, 1878 in Greiz, † October 14, 1927 ibid ) was April 19, 1902 to November 10, 1918 Prince Reuss Greiz, Count and Lord to Plauen, Lord of Greiz, Crane box, Gera, Schleiz and praising stone.

Life

He was the only son of Prince Heinrich XXII. Reuss to Greiz and his wife Ida of Schaumburg -Lippe ( 1852-1891 ).

Due to his physical and mental ailments as a result of an accident in his childhood, he was unfit to rule and was on April 19, 1902 to October 15, 1908 under reign of Henry XIV Prince Reuss younger line, then under regency of Heinrich XXVII. Prince and Prince (from 1913) Reuss younger line.

After the end of the monarchy, he retained the right to live in the Lower Castle until his death in 1927. Discussions with Heinrich XXIV died the elder branch of the House of Reuss, so that only a ruling line Reuss remained.
