Heinz Otto Ziegler

Heinz Otto Ziegler ( born March 11, 1903 in Prague, † May 4, 1944 as a pilot in the Royal Air Force) was a German- Czech sociologist. His scientific work was mainly questions of political sociology.

After degree, doctorate and habilitation at the University of Heidelberg Ziegler 1927 Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Frankfurt. After the " seizure of power" of the Nazis Ziegler emigrated to Prague and later in the United Kingdom, where he joined the Royal Air Force after the war began.
