Helen Sjöholm

Marie Helen Sjöholm (* July 10, 1970 in Sundsvall ) is a Swedish singer and actress.

She was known primarily as a singer in musical Kristina från Duvemåla and the Swedish version of Chess. In addition, she appeared on the three albums the group Benny Andersson's Orkester ( BAO ) of ex- ABBA member Benny Andersson. With this group she also appeared on live. In 2002 she published in collaboration with Georg and Martin Wadenius Östergren their first, highly successful solo album Visor on which it interprets Swedish folk songs. Very remarkable is next to the result of their collaboration with the Swedish jazz pianist Anders Widmark, which appeared in October 2003 CD genome varje andetag.

In 2004, she starred in the movie as in heaven ( Så som i himmelen ) the role of Gabriella and sang the main song Gabriellas sång. In the season 2005/2006 she was seen on stage at the Stockholm Stadsteater in the role of Polly Peachum in The Threepenny Opera. Since September 2008, it stands as " Eliza Doolittle " in the musical My Fair Lady in the Oscar Theatre in Stockholm on stage.

Helen Sjöholm is married to sound engineer David Granditsky. On 25 July 2007 she has her first child, son of Reuben, was born.
