Helena Henschen

Helena Henschen, ( born March 21, 1940 in Solna, † 27 January 2011) was a Swedish designer and writer.

Life

Helena Henschen was the daughter of Anders Henschen and Marianne von Sydow. They went through the textile education at the Swedish Konstfack School of Art and was one of the founders of the Swedish fashion label Mah - Jong. Scripture Risch she worked among others for the Swedish magazines Moderna tider and Marxistiskt Forum (Journal of the Swedish Communist Party SKP ) and for the Stockholm City Museum. In addition, she has written children's books and illustrated.

Henschens literary debut was formed in 2004, the novel I Skuggan av ett brott, German In the shadow of a crime: the Sydow murders; it's about the murders in her mother's family on March 7, 1932. 2009 she received for this novel the Literature Prize of the European Union. In autumn 2008, Hon älskade came (literally: " She loved " ) out, a biographical novel about Helena Henschens grandmother Signe Thiel, daughter of the banker and art patron Ernest Thiel, see also Thielska galleriet.

She was first married to the architect Peter B. Larsson married ( son Jesper Larsson Bergom, * 1961, actor, producer and screenwriter ), in a second marriage with the artist Håkan Nyberg ( daughter Saskia Lagerbielke, nee Nyberg ), in third wife, the writer and politician Gunnar ear Lander ( twins Kristina and Jenny Henschen ).

2011 Helena Henschen died of cerebral hemorrhage.
